Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about how we review products, our rating system, and what makes DrinkDigits Reviews different.
We review products that people actually buy bars, shakes, powders, cereals and high-protein snacks. Most items are chosen based on community requests and trending launches.
Yes, most of the products we review are purchased by us. If a brand ever sends us something, we clearly disclose it, and it never influences the score. We also pay attention to what real people are saying online community feedback, Reddit threads, TikTok reactions, and customer reviews but we always base our final score on our own testing, not the internet hype.
No. We don't do paid positive reviews. If we ever run sponsored content in the future, it will be marked clearly and will never influence ratings.
Every product gets a score from 0 - 10, based on five categories: Taste, Nutrition, Value, Texture, and Overall. Each score is based on real testing, macro breakdowns, and ingredient analysis.
We test items multiple times different days, different moods to check consistency. If something tastes amazing once and terrible the next time, we call it out.
Yes. We note whether products work for specific lifestyles or restrictions, but the primary scoring is based on universal taste + nutrition quality.
Short answer: we don't hype everything. We test objectively, break down macros, and score honestly not every bar is a "10/10 OMG." Most are not.
Absolutely! Just click Request a Review and send us the product name. If it is available in our region, we will add it to the queue.
Sometimes we use affiliate links, which may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This helps us keep the reviews free and unbiased.
Scores can change when brands reformulate flavors or ingredients. If a product changes, we retest it and update the review.
We post new reviews regularly usually multiple times per week depending on product availability and testing schedules.
That is normal! Taste is subjective. If you love something we disliked, or found a hidden gem we missed, tell us the community helps shape future reviews.
